BOTOPICAL®, a BOTOX®-like cosmetic solution and a non-aggressive alternative to reduce expression wrinkles. Rich in organic compounds from rye, Botopical favours the relaxation of subcutaneous muscles, thus correcting wrinkles caused by facial movements.

They offer a long-lasting tensor effect by stimulating the mechanical cell functions involved in the modulation of skin tension forces and reducing the phenomena of micro tensing to visibly smooth expression lines. Botopical relaxes the features while at the same time conversing the natural mobility of the face.

Botopical stimulates the formation of mechano-receptors. Tested at 0.25 % on normal human fibroblasts, Botopical stimulates the synthesis of integrin α2 ß 1 by 20 % and boosts the synthesis of vinculin, a marker of focal adhesions, by 28%.

Botopical increases the mechanical resistance of the skin. Tested at 0.50% on normal human fibroblasts, Botopical led to a 62% increase in the synthesis of -SMA fibres, responsible for the retractile forces of fibroblasts. ARGIRELINE (Acetyl hexapeptide-3): Argireline works through a unique mechanism which relaxes facial tension leading to a reduction in superficial facial lines and wrinkles with regular use. LUPINE PEPTIDES: Lupine peptides is a blend of Penta- and Hexa- peptides derived from lupin flower protein that works as an MMP inhibitor, thus preventing MMP activity following exposure of the skin to sunlight. By doing this, the lupine peptides blend prevents collagen and elastin (the main proteins making up connective tissue) breakdown catalysed by MMP activity, helping to renew the skin’s outer layer, reduce the depth of wrinkles and stimulating the production of collagen & elastin, giving the skin a younger look.
