Argireline & Matrixyl anti-aging peptide solution for DIY applications
“100%” stock solution of 10 ml (0.33oz), Collagen building, repairing and wrinkle freezing through a Botox-like effect.
Argireline (Acetyl hexapeptide-3) works through a unique mechanism that relaxes facial tension and reduces superficial facial lines and wrinkles with regular use. Argireline has been shown to moderate excessive catecholamines release. Anti-age hexapeptide developed with combinatorial chemistry and high throughput screening techniques.
It reduces the severity of wrinkles around the eyes, up to 17% after 15 days of treatment and up to 27% after 30 days of treatment. It reduces the depth of wrinkles on the face caused by the contraction of muscles of facial expression, especially in the forehead and around the eyes.
It prevents skin ageing induced by repeated facial movements caused by excessive catecholamine release. Argireline can be incorporated in cosmetic formulations such as emulsions, gels, serums, etc., where removing deep lines or wrinkles in the forehead or around the eye area is desired. The recommended use level is 3-10% of the solution to obtain significant anti-wrinkle activity. Popular Botox-alternative wrinkle treatments on the market use as much as 15% Argireline.
Matrixyl (palmitoyl pentapeptide-4) is the trademark name for Palmitoyl pentapeptide-4, one of the powerful peptides found in the latest generation of high-end anti-wrinkle skin care products. Matrixyl works at DNA Level to stimulate the very factors in the skin which we lose as we grow old, collagen and fibronectin. The loss of collagen is what leads to thinning of the skin and the wrinkling that we associate with ageing skin. Matrixyl helps to counteract this natural part of the ageing process and immediately initiates the REVERSAL of the signs of ageing. Over six months, a clinical trial revealed that Matrixyl temporarily produced “a highly significant reduction in the deep and moderate wrinkles”. In fact, researchers documented changes as high as 68% (Matrixyl® 1999).
In clinical studies, Matrixyl was shown to:
* Increase overall Collagen synthesis by up to 117%,
* Increase Collagen IV synthesis by up to 327%,
* Increase Hyaluronic acid synthesis by up to 267%.
Deep wrinkles were reduced by half. Smaller wrinkles and fine lines sometimes faded completely away. And what’s even better, every participant in the study showed a noticeable improvement within two weeks. The result was fewer wrinkles and younger-looking skin (2010 WrinkleReview.com).
